Conclusion
Napoleon basically forced the french revolution, he beame a general at the perfect time to lead france into the revolution. Nationalism then came and changes were made in france. Napoleon just helped it, He went with the flow. What ever worked he made it happen.
summary
Napoleon was a pragamist, he went with the flow, what ever worked. he was at a time involved with the directory. in 1799 Napoleon and two others seized power, they took their new titles from roman ones, consuls. Napoleon became the first consul. He was voted the new government. He then created the code napoleon, witch is still in place in france. He set up national bank, established legion of honour, expanded education, and healed rift between france and catholic church. He then installed a constitution. december 2, 1804, Napoleons coronation as Emperor of france.

- 1810 had childless marrage to Josephine de Beauharnais annulled.

napoleon map
Napoleon was born on august 15, 1769 in Ajaccio, Corsica.
He died on may 5th,1821, and his body was not aloud to return to france until 1840.
He was exiled to the remote island of helena where he passed away.
He was also exiled to the island of elba.
The yellow dot on the map on the right represents where he ws born.
